Premier David Eby has issued the following statement celebrating B.C. Day:

Fifteen people who exemplify excellence will be invested into the Order of British Columbia, the province’s highest honour.

The Province is celebrating five years of the B.C. Access Grant, a program that has helped tens of thousands of students throughout B.C. afford post-secondary education.

Construction is underway for new classrooms at seven schools across B.C., creating nearly 1,500 additional student spaces to support rapidly growing communities.

As the B.C. Day long weekend approaches, people are encouraged to stay informed about wildfire conditions, be prepared and plan travel.

Premier David Eby has announced a strategic shift to his cabinet in order to centre jobs, the economy and the needs of British Columbians in their communities. 

In just two months, B.C. has received almost 780 job applications from qualified health professionals across the United States, reflecting strong momentum from the Province’s co-ordinated U.S. recruitment campaign.
