More students in Richmond will benefit from a seismically safer school now that funding has been approved to upgrade Howard DeBeck Elementary school.  

More elementary students are safer at school with the completion of the seismic replacement of Bayview Community Elementary.

Students enrolled in early childhood education (ECE) programs at British Columbia post-secondary institutions can apply for bursaries to help pay costs.

Five hundred more students in Surrey can look forward to moving into modern, engaging classrooms after an addition to Kwantlen Park Secondary School was approved.

The Province, Surrey School District and City of Surrey continue to work together to ensure investments in schools keep up with the district’s significant enrolment growth.

A 10-classroom addition has opened at Sunnyside Elementary, giving more Surrey students expanded, modern and connected spaces to learn.   

Nominations are open to honour child care providers who go above and beyond to help children achieve their best, or who have shown innovation, demonstrated leadership or used partnerships to advance child care in their community.
