The Province, in co-operation with British Columbia’s Urban Mayors’ Caucus (BCUMC), has hired two experts to investigate and report on prolific offenders and random violent attacks, and the necessary actions.

Construction is underway on 60 new supportive homes for men recovering from addiction and at risk of homelessness in Abbotsford.

Displaced Ukrainians will have access to more vital community programs and supports as the Province expands the Service BC phone line to include United Way British Columbia’s bc211 service.

With thousands of displaced Ukrainians expected to relocate to British Columbia over the coming months, the Province is expanding services and supports to connect individuals and families to the help they need.

To reduce barriers in accessing services and to ensure more people better see themselves in government regulations, the Province is removing almost 750 additional instances of gendered language across 16 ministries.
