As of Tuesday, April 5, 2022, 90.9% (4,529,972) of eligible people five and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 87.4% (4,358,529) have received their second dose.

The Province is releasing the Declaration Act Action Plan, developed in consultation and co-operation with Indigenous Peoples, outlining 89 specific actions every ministry in government will take to create a better province for Indigenous Peoples in B.C.

On June 1, 2022, B.C.'s lowest-paid workers will get a pay boost, with the general minimum wage increasing from $15.20 to $15.65 an hour.
