Young adults living with addictions in British Columbia will have access to more treatment and recovery services, with the opening of new substance-use beds in Surrey and Vancouver.

Francophone students in Smithers will learn and play in a new school and gymnasium built with prefabricated technology while long-term plans are made for a larger home for the École élémentaire La Grande-ourse community.

Asbestos abatement contractors who operate in B.C. must be licensed by Jan. 1, 2024, making B.C. the first jurisdiction in Canada to implement a licensing requirement for this work.
