Despite ongoing uncertainty from the COVID-19 pandemic, current forecasts show an increase in revenues and a reduction in the deficit for the 2021-22 fiscal year as British Columbia’s strong vaccination rates are supporting a swift economic recovery in many sectors.

As of Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, 85.5% (3,962,256) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 78.0% (3,614,503) received their second dose.

More than 14,000 B.C. students will soon have access to new, safe and accessible playgrounds as the Province doubles its annual investment in the Playground Equipment Program (PEP). 

As of Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, 85.3% (3,955,624) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 77.8% (3,608,067) received their second dose.

As of Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, 85.2% (3,949,169) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 77.7% (3,601,169) received their second dose.

As of Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, 85.1% (3,943,729) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 77.6% (3,594,929) received their second dose.

As of Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, 84.8% (3,929,089) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 77.1% (3,572,841) received their second dose.

As of Thursday, Sep. 2, 2021, 84.6% (3,922,233) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 76.9% (3,565,148) received their second dose.
