The Province is making clean transportation more affordable and accessible for British Columbians, with incentives and one of Canada’s largest networks of charging and fuelling stations, announced Michelle Mungall, Minister of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources on Clean Energy Vehicle Day.

British Columbia has a long history in mining, from the first coal mines on Vancouver Island in the mid-1800s, through the Cariboo gold rush, to the modernized mines of today, mineral exploration and mining have remained a foundational industry of the province.

Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources Minister Michelle Mungall has established a B.C. Mining Jobs Task Force that will review exploration and mining in the province and find ways to strengthen this important industry.
