As part of its ongoing commitment to reduce wildfire threats, the B.C. government is providing more than $169,000 in community resiliency investment grants to support projects in northwest British Columbia.

As part of its ongoing commitment to reduce wildfire threats, the B.C. government is providing a $47,390 community resiliency investment grant to the Regional District of Nanaimo to support projects in the Nanaimo area.

Under the BC Rural Dividend Program, the Government of British Columbia is providing nearly $1.3 million for 10 projects in the Shuswap region, Armstrong and Vernon.

As part of its ongoing commitment to reduce wildfire threats, the B.C. government is providing more than $53,000 in community resiliency investment grants to support projects on the Sunshine Coast.

The new allowable annual cut for Canfor’s Tree Farm Licence 14 (TFL 14) in the East Kootenays will remain at 180,000 cubic metres, announced Diane Nicholls, chief forester.
