Enhancing French-language services for French-speaking people in B.C. is part of government’s goal of promoting linguistic vitality in the province. 

Health Minister Adrian Dix has issued the following statement regarding the proclamation of Spiritual Health Care Week in British Columbia, Oct. 16-22, 2017:

Premier John Horgan today announced the appointment of Adrian Dix as Minister Responsible for the Francophone Affairs Program. The new responsibility is in addition to his role as Minister of Health.

The Province is providing $76,000 for a program that helps multicultural seniors, who are new to Canada, feel more comfortable and confident when they are out in the community.

A family of privately sponsored Syrian refugees rolled up their sleeves to be immunized by a B.C. pharmacist, while Health Minister Terry Lake provided a little support.

Empowering older British Columbians is the main focus of funding announced by Attorney General Suzanne Anton and Port Moody-Coquitlam MLA Linda Reimer on behalf of Health Minister Terry Lake.
