Patients in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and neighbouring communities are benefiting from increased access to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams and shorter wait times with the opening of the first-ever MRI suite for Ridge Meadows Hospital.

Patients in Langley and  across the region can now benefit from increased access to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams and shorter wait times with the opening of the first-ever MRI suite for Langley Memorial Hospital.

The Province is accepting applications for the new Minister’s Advisory Council on Children and Youth with Support Needs (CYSN MAC).

A report that has been released by the Ministry of Health provides independent analysis and recommendations to support the Province’s management of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in the long-term care sector. 

An $8.4-million investment in education and training programs will enable people to train for high-demand jobs as health-care assistants caring for B.C.’s seniors.

As of Nov. 22, 2020, 90% of patients who had their surgery postponed during the first wave of COVID-19 were able to have their surgery completed through B.C.’s commitment to surgical renewal.
