Seniors in Maple Ridge will have access to more affordable housing with construction starting on 98 homes.

Youth transitioning out of foster care, and young mothers in New Westminster are closer to having a safe, stable place to live as construction starts on a new 89-home development in the community.

People with low to moderate incomes in Quesnel, including Indigenous Elders, seniors and families, will soon have access to safe, affordable housing with construction underway on 35 new rental homes.

People experiencing or at risk of homelessness now have more safe places to stay with the opening of 25 additional temporary shelter spaces at the Victoria Native Friendship Centre (VNFC) in Saanich, bringing its total number of overnight shelter spaces to 50.
