People living with disabilities in Kaslo now have access to 10 new affordable rental homes with the opening of Penny Lane Apartments.

Seniors, individuals and families, including people living with disabilities, have a place they can call home now that 130 new affordable rental and supportive homes are open in Langford and Victoria.

Vernon families and seniors have access to an additional 29 affordable rental homes for households with low to moderate incomes with the opening of Albert Place 2.

A first-of-its-kind housing development that will provide a mix of affordable rental homes for seniors and homes for people who require on-site dementia care support is now open in Vanderhoof.

People experiencing homelessness in Kelowna will continue to have access to safe, warm beds with the extension of leases on the Richter Street and Doyle Avenue shelters.

The Province, in partnership with the City of Vancouver and the federal government, is beginning consultation with neighbours and the surrounding community on a proposal for two new permanent supportive housing developments in Vancouver.

The Province, through BC Housing, has purchased the former Fortune Motel in Kamloops.
