More than 350 new student beds and a dining hall are coming to Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s (KPU) Surrey campus, marking the first on-campus housing project for KPU.

Construction is beginning on new K-12 classrooms at three schools in Burnaby, bringing more than 1,000 new student spaces to meet the needs of the community.

Public engagement is open to support implementation of the Infrastructure Projects Act, which aims to get shovels in the ground quicker for critical projects that people need in their communities.

Major infrastructure projects will be built faster in B.C. as the Province aims to speed up permitting and approvals through new legislation.
