People who are struggling with housing affordability and homelessness in Maple Ridge will soon have access to new supportive housing, affordable rental housing and expanded mental-health and addictions support to help them maintain stable housing.

The Government of British Columbia, in collaboration with the District of Sechelt and RainCity Housing, will open a year-round shelter to provide a safe, warm place to stay for people who are struggling with homelessness — especially during the cold winter months ahead.
