Communities throughout British Columbia will soon be able to apply for a share of the combined $150-million federal-provincial infrastructure funding that will give them the help they need to deliver the water and wastewater services people count on.

That is why the Government of Canada is renewing its commitment to local governments through the federal Gas Tax Fund and delivering much needed support for their local priorities. 

Every Canadian deserves a safe and affordable place to call home.  That is why the Government of Canada launched Canada's very first National Housing Strategy, a once-in-a-generation investment to fight homelessness and improve access to affordable housing for Canadians and signed a new memorandum of intent (MOI) with the British Columbia government.

Eleven building projects have been selected as winners in a juried competition to support the design and construction of energy-efficient buildings.
