A library renewal project at Coast Mountain College (CMTN) in Terrace will create construction-related jobs for regional businesses and tradespeople.

Adults in British Columbia will be able to develop stronger reading, writing and math skills in more than 80 local communities with an investment in Community Adult Literacy Programming (CALP).

Adult literacy programs in the northwest region of the province are giving people the reading, writing, math and computer skills needed to understand household budgets, join in community activities and help their children with their homework.
