Premier John Horgan kicked off his inaugural mission to Asia with a visit to British Columbia’s sister province Guangdong, China, to strengthen relationships and expand markets for the tourism, clean energy and technology sectors.

Premier John Horgan departed today to Guangzhou, China, as part of a 10-day mission to China, South Korea and Japan to strengthen economic and cultural ties with three of B.C.’s largest trading partners, expand markets, and create good jobs for people throughout B.C.

People in Prince George celebrated investments from the Province that will give the community more opportunities to enjoy the outdoors while supporting the region’s tourism industry and local economy.

People throughout British Columbia will be better equipped to challenge racism, hate and discrimination in their communities as a result of funding to 32 community organizations, announced today by Ravi Kahlon, Parliamentary Secretary for Sport and Multiculturalism.
