More than 50 people experiencing homelessness in Kamloops could be moving into supportive housing with the proposed purchase of land on the city’s North Shore.

Nearly 100 new rental homes are coming for middle-income individuals, couples and families in Nelson and Fernie through BC Builds housing projects.

Victoria residents will be able to continue living in affordable homes, thanks to the Rental Protection Fund’s contribution to purchase two properties in the community.

Families and seniors in Vancouver will soon have access to 146 new affordable rental homes as construction begins on Sunrise Village on the corner of Venables and Renfrew streets.
