Drivers are advised that crews will be resurfacing the northbound lane on the Malahat section of Highway 1 between Finlayson Arm Road and Tunnel Hill between 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6 and 6 a.m. on Thursday, April 7.

Travellers are advised that resurfacing of the northbound lane of the Malahat section of Highway 1 between Finlayson Arm Road and Tunnel Hill is rescheduled for the week of March 14.

A series of short closures and delays on the Malahat (Highway 1) between Finlayson Arm Road and Tunnel Hill are planned for March 9 to 12, 2022.

The Malahat (Highway 1) is now open to continuous two-way traffic around the clock for oversized vehicles.

Highway 1 at Tunnel Hill on the Malahat has reopened to two-way traffic.  

Repairs to Highway 1 at Tunnel Hill on the Malahat have progressed well, and no further overnight closures are needed.

Drivers are advised that the Malahat section of Highway 1 between West Shore Parkway and Tunnel Hill will be closed in both directions overnight each night from Nov. 16-22, 2021.
