The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died following a plane crash near the British Columbia-Alberta border on July 26, 2013.

An agreement between the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and the Sexqeltkemc te Secwepemc (STS) paves the way for construction to continue on the Highway 1 Monte Creek to Pritchard project.

A contract has been awarded to build a new two-lane bridge over Corya Creek at Moricetown on Highway 16, approximately 36 kilometres west of Smithers.

Approximately 23 kilometres of Highway 5A will be resurfaced this summer to further increase safety and improve the ride along this corridor. The project will go to tender this week.
