There is good news for B.C. drivers during Crime Prevention Week (Nov. 1-7) with new figures showing significant reductions in rates of auto-theft crimes. In the first half of 2012, there's been a 17 per cent drop in vehicle thefts throughout the province.

A new roundabout at the intersection of South Shore Road and North Shore Road in Lake Cowichan will be constructed to improve motorist and pedestrian safety, as a result of a partnership between the government of B.C. and the Town of Lake Cowichan.
