Twenty-six new affordable rental homes are now open for Indigenous Elders, couples and people living with disabilities in Quesnel.

Twenty-five families, seniors and people living with disabilities in Vernon are settling into new affordable rental homes with the opening of two projects completed as a result of partnership between the Province, through BC Housing, and the Okanagan Village Housing Society.

As many as 75 people experiencing homelessness will continue to have a safe and warm place to stay with the extension of two temporary shelters in Kamloops, announced by the Province, through BC Housing.

The Province is helping the Comox Valley Regional District build sewage infrastructure in rural areas to support the health of residents and the environment, as well as advance reconciliation with K’ómoks First Nation.

People in Squamish will have more affordable rental options to choose from with more than 140 new homes opening in two projects in the community.

People will be able to move into new homes faster as the Province invests in digital permitting and the construction industry to make the process quicker and more collaborative.
