Economic opportunities and participation are a central part of reconciliation with B.C. First Nations.

One hundred and twenty community organizations from around the province are receiving a total of $300,000 in multiculturalism grants to help celebrate British Columbia’s rich multicultural heritage and promote diversity and inclusiveness.

More than 300 artists and cultural organizations from 94 communities are benefiting from the latest round of BC Arts Council adjudications, which is awarding $7.5 million in grants.

The Governments of British Columbia and Québec renewed their near 12-year partnership by signing a new Agreement of Cooperation and Exchange with respect to the Francophonie.  

Minister of Agriculture Norm Letnick, responsible for the BC Francophone Affairs Program, celebrated the 15th annual B.C. Francophonie Day with the francophone community representatives and francophiles at the Parliament Buildings.
