Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Todd Stone has made changes to the B.C. Pavilion Corporation’s (PavCo) board of directors, with the departure of two members and appointment of four new members, who will bring diversified experience to the provincial Crown corporation in charge of BC Place, the Vancouver Convention Centre and Corporate Office.

Work to resurface of a portion of Highway 1 through the Dogwood Valley near Hope has been completed.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is looking for the public’s feedback at two open houses regarding the future Brunette Interchange on Highway 1.

Rolla Road (known locally as Snake Pit Road) has now re-opened with the completion of a temporary bridge replacement over the road.

Two public information sessions will be held in early November to discuss  recent revisions to the road and bridge maintenance contract in the East Kootenay.

A new program to help inspire students throughout the province to do their part to prepare British Columbia families and communities for emergencies is now available in B.C. classrooms.

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will be seeking input from Sunshine Coast residents and other interested individuals and organizations on the potential of a highway link between the Sunshine Coast and Lower Mainland, as part of its Sunshine Coast Fixed Link Feasibility Study.
