Students enrolled in early childhood education (ECE) programs at British Columbia post-secondary institutions can apply for bursaries to help pay costs.

Hundreds of companies in B.C. will benefit from an extension of the Province’s Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit, which will reduce costs for technology businesses while growing the sector and supporting a stronger, more innovative economy for British Columbia.

The Province is providing $8 million to the City of Terrace and the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine to upgrade the Terrace landfill and regional district’s waste-management facility, increasing solid-waste capacity and helping protect the environment.   

Conservation and stewardship of B.C.’s freshwater fisheries will get a financial boost through an increase in angling fees for the 2023-24 season.

The Province has issued an Environmental Assessment certificate for Cedar LNG following a multi-year assessment process under B.C.’s Environmental Assessment Act to construct and operate a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility and marine export terminal located on Haisla-Nation-owned land on Douglas Channel in Kitimat.

A B.C. environmental assessment certificate has been issued to Cedar LNG Partners LP for the proposed Cedar LNG project in northwestern British Columbia, following a joint decision by provincial ministers.
