Seniors and persons with mobility issues in Merritt will benefit by a new HandyDART service in the community, thanks to funding set aside by the Province and the City of Merritt.

Construction will soon be getting underway on the Vinsulla passing lane and commercial truck pullout project that will improve safety and the flow of traffic on the Yellowhead Highway north of Kamloops.  

Beginning next week, the Government of British Columbia will be meeting with First Nations, local governments, chambers of commerce and other community leaders as part of initial consultations for the Sunshine Coast Fixed Link Feasibility Study.
