And yet when they need help, families in crisis have had to struggle to navigate a fragmented system that doesn’t get their kids the care they need. There are waitlists to navigate, expensive bills to pay and doors that seemingly lead nowhere.

New, affordable, on-campus student housing is coming to Coast Mountain College’s Terrace campus, with 108 new beds to replace outdated housing and 33 net new student beds.

The Province is helping Salt Spring Islanders move toward better water service with a $50,000 grant to the Capital Regional District to study options to better manage water on the island.
