Families and seniors in Vancouver will soon have access to 146 new affordable rental homes as construction begins on Sunrise Village on the corner of Venables and Renfrew streets.

People in Metro Vancouver will benefit from shorter wait times and enhanced service frequency as a result of significant new funding for TransLink.

People will have more opportunities to enjoy multi-use pathways, protected bike lanes, pedestrian bridges and safety improvements as local, regional and Indigenous governments expand their active transportation infrastructure.

Following additional consultation, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure alongside the City of Delta and other local stakeholders has decided to reschedule repairs to the Highway 17A crossing over Highway 99 until 2024.

The Province is studying ways to support Mission and region in achieving more diverse housing, better transportation options and increased economic opportunities through the efficient movement of people and goods.
