The two finishing touches on the new Port Mann Bridge - a 1964 commemorative plaque from the original bridge and a new plaque to mark the opening of the new crossing - were unveiled in a ceremony on the old bridge.

The new Port Mann Bridge will open to eight lanes of traffic on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, and tolling will commence after one free week, on Saturday, Dec. 8.
