The Province, in partnership with the BC First Nations Justice Council (BCFNJC), is opening six Indigenous justice centres, fulfilling a commitment to establish 15 Indigenous justice centres (IJCs) throughout B.C.

The Province continues to enhance B.C.'s response to the toxic-drug crisis.

The following individuals have been awarded The King Charles III Coronation Medal as part of the Government of British Columbia’s partner allotment.

Provincial legislation to fix outdated zoning rules and create more small-scale multi-unit homes (row homes, triplexes and townhouses) has now been adopted into local bylaws, or will soon be adopted, by almost 90% of communities throughout B.C., paving the way for more housing options for people with middle incomes.

The Province is partnering with the Northwest BC Resource Benefits Alliance (RBA) to bring a new community funding agreement benefiting people living and working in northwestern B.C.  

People accessing health care will benefit from a stronger workforce as the Province further invests in recruitment, retention and training initiatives for allied health and clinical support workers.
