Jodie Wickens was first elected as the MLA for Coquitlam-Burke Mountain in 2016 and served until 2017, and was re-elected in 2024.

Jodie was appointed the Minister of State for Child Care and Children and Youth with Support Needs in November 2024.

Before being elected to the legislature the second time, Jodie was a strong advocate for early intervention therapy, quality accessible public education and social justice, using her wealth of experience as a Director of Programs and Services at SHARE Society, a prominent non-profit organization in the Tri-Cities.

Jodie and her husband Brian have two children, Troy and Ashton, and she has lived in Coquitlam for over 19 years.
