Honourable Christine Boyle
Christine Boyle was first elected as MLA for Vancouver-Little Mountain in 2024.
In July 2025, Christine was appointed Minister of Housing and Municipal Affairs. She previously served as Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation.
Christine was Vancouver city Councillor from 2018-2024. During her time on council, she was a strong housing advocate, with a focus on rental, co-op and non-market housing. Her work in a divided council was a testament to her coalition-building skills, successfully working with labour, business and housing advocates to make it easier to build housing in the city of Vancouver.
Before entering municipal politics, Christine spent her early career working in front-line social services and community outreach in Vancouver and multi-faith climate advocacy nationally. She has an undergraduate degree in urban agriculture and First Nations studies from the University of British Columbia. As a student intern, Christine worked on Amnesty International’s 2004 Stolen Sisters report.
Christine grew up on the territories of the xʷməθkʷəyəm (Musqueam), Sḵwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) people, and loves cooking and spending time outdoors. She lives in Vancouver with her husband and two children.
