U.S. Draft Recommendations

On September 20, 2013 the US Entity released their Draft Recommendations for stakeholder and public comment. These recommendations are a result of a series of regional discussions on earlier working draft recommendations that reflected the perspectives of the U.S. Columbia River Treaty Sovereign Review Team.

The US Entity hosted public round table meetings in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana to meet with stakeholders and receive their comments. The public comment period on the Draft Recommendations ended on October 25, 2013. To view the draft recommendations and comments received by the US Entity, please visit their Columbia River Treaty 2014-2014 Review website at:http://www.crt2014-2024review.gov/CRTComments.aspx

The US Entity expects to forward its final regional recommendation to the U.S. Department of State before the end of December 2013.
