Seniors in need of residential care now have greater access to housing and supports at the newly renovated and expanded Langley Lodge.

The expansion of Langley Lodge, located at 5451 - 204th St. in Langley, includes a new wing that provides 73 complex care beds for seniors. The pre-existing six-storey tower was renovated to accommodate 66 beds for a total of 139 beds. The building also features amenity space that includes social, lounge and laundry rooms as well as a kitchen, a hair salon and a dining room.

The Province supported the project through long-term financing of approximately $28.1 million. Other partners include the Langley Care Society, who owns and operates the building, and provided the land. In addition, Fraser Health will provide annual operating funding of approximately $6.6 million.
