Service BC moves to a new location today, co-locating with the Ministry of Attorney General court services branch at 837 Park Drive in Golden.
The move brings the knowledgeable staff of Service BC and court services together, behind one set of doors. The new location will improve service delivery in Golden. Residents can now do all their government business at one place, accessing services such as income assistance, medical services plan registration, court payments and court registry services.
Over the past year, similar office moves have occurred in Mackenzie and Valemount. These moves have been made to improve in-person service delivery at the community level.
The office in Golden is one of 12 Service BC Centres in the Kootenays, providing in-person access to a broad range of government services, programs and information. For more information about the services available in person, online and over the phone, visit Service BC at: www.servicebc.gov.bc.ca
