The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Ladysmith on Feb. 24, 2016.
He was Jacob Lee Gunn, aged 23, of Keremeos.
Mr. Gunn was a pedestrian on the Island Highway just south of Cedar Road about 5 a.m. on Feb. 24, 2016, when he was struck by two trucks. He was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Gunn’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that the media respect their privacy during this difficult time.
