The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident in Salmon Arm on March 5, 2016.
He was Jonah Jessie Daniel Nanosh Triton Kosowan, aged 24, of Calgary, Alta.
Mr. Kosowan was the driver and sole occupant of a car that was in a collision with a half-ton truck on the Salmon River Bridge on Highway 1 in Salmon Arm, at about 7:45 a.m. on March 5, 2016. Mr. Kosowan was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
Mr. Kosowan’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that the media respect their privacy during this difficult time.
