The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a child who died after a motor vehicle incident near Kamloops on April 16, 2016.
He was Jesse Derek Willer, aged two years, of Kamloops.
Shortly after 5 p.m. on April 16, Jesse was struck by a vehicle backing up on private property about 40 kilometres north of Kamloops. He was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
Jesse’s family has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that the media respect their privacy during this difficult time.
