The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died near Kelowna on June 26, 2016.
He was Mark Warren Edelhoff, aged 56, of Kelowna.
About 7 p.m. on June 27, 2016, hikers in Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park southeast of Kelowna came upon a deceased male at the base of Myra Canyon Trestle #9. The hikers notified the authorities. The next morning, search-and-rescue personnel recovered the male who has been identified as Mr. Edelhoff.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate to determine the cause and manner of Mr. Edelhoff’s death. Foul play has been ruled out.
