The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died in a motorcycle incident in Dawson Creek on July 20, 2016.
He was Daniel Dutrisac, aged 54, of Timmins, Ont.
Mr. Dutrisac was the operator of an eastbound motorcycle that collided with a turning transport truck on the Alaska Highway at 15th Street in Dawson Creek about 1:45 p.m. on July 20, 2016. He was taken to Dawson Creek Hospital but died shortly after arriving at hospital.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Dutrisac has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
