The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who died after a motor vehicle incident in Chilliwack on Dec. 1, 2016.
She was Fourghozaman Firoozian, aged 78, of Chilliwack.
Ms. Firoozian was struck by a vehicle in the 9100-block of Mary Street in Chilliwack shortly after 1 p.m. on Dec. 1, 2016. She was transported to Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster but succumbed to her injuries there later that afternoon.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
Ms. Firoozian’s family has been notified of her death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service requests that the media respect their privacy during this difficult time.
