In addition, the following service providers will receive funding to support hospices:

  • Crossroads Hospice Society ($50,000) to support its project to acquire equipment and renovate its patient treatment space.
  • Oceanside Hospice Society ($50,000) to purchase new equipment and a transport van.
  • Surrey Hospice Society ($50,000) to complete renovations to its Resource Centre space to facilitate sound-proof counselling spaces for privacy protection and respect for clients, and purchase tools and equipment needed for the children’s grief resource centre.
  • Vancouver Hospice Society ($71,000) to renovate and expand the society’s space to improve patient care.
