Kamloops motorists are advised that the Red Bridge on Mt. Paul Way in Kamloops will be a closed to vehicle traffic for approximately one hour on Friday, Sept. 22, beginning between 11 a.m. and noon, during the Upper Nicola Indian Band’s Calling Our Spirits Back Healing Walk.

During the closure, motorists can cross the South Thompson River via Highway 5. The bridge will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists.

Motorists may also expect delays Friday afternoon and Saturday, Sept. 23 on Highway 5A, as the walk proceeds to Douglas Lake Road.
