The eighth annual Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria bike ride will take place on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, from approximately 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The ride is expected to draw 1,500 cyclists riding through Victoria, the West Shore and Saanich.

Drivers will experience moderate delays between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. along Highway 14 at Happy Valley Road and Glen Lake Road, and near the intersection of Highway 17 and Sayward Road from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Motorists are advised to allow additional time to arrive at their destinations and to adjust travel plans where possible. Please exercise caution, obey posted speeds and event signs, and watch for traffic-control personnel.
