People travelling Keating Cross Road and the Pat Bay Highway will see evening lane closures and workers on site from June 8 to 15.
Field crews will be on site doing geotechnical investigations. This involves drilling holes and analyzing soil samples to better understand subsurface ground conditions in preparation for the Highway 17/Keating Cross Road Flyover Project.
To facilitate the geotechnical work, there will be lane closures on Highway 17 starting in the evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Southbound lane closures will occur on from June 8 to 10. Northbound lane closures will occur from June 10 to 15.
Work will take place on the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure right of way on Highway 17 between Tanner Road and Island View Road.
Drivers are asked to use caution and obey the instruction of traffic control personnel.
