VICTORIA - A new online resource will make it easier for B.C. families who are trying to find and access provincial and federal tax benefits.

The Province of B.C. and the Canada Revenue Agency have created a detailed list of available child and family tax benefits at both provincial and federal levels. The list includes short descriptions of benefits, as well as direct links to appropriate webpages to find more information. It’s important for parents to file their income tax returns - even if they have no income to report - in order to take advantage of the full breadth of benefits available to them.
