SMITHERS - While in Smithers, the Minister of Technology, Innovation and Citizens’ Services Andrew Wilkinson visited with local technology company Hy-Tech Drilling and welcomed Bulkley Valley Economic Development Association as the newest partner to offer the BC Venture Acceleration Program in the Northwest.

As a BC Innovation Council initiative, budding tech start-ups in the region now have the opportunity to apply for the venture growth program and benefit from mentorship, and skills and business development training.
