Winter is approaching fast, but that is not stopping kids at Eagle View Elementary from being active and staying healthy outdoors with their brand new, safe, modern and accessible playground.

Children and families throughout B.C. will have the opportunity to spark their imagination and foster lifelong learning through innovative community literacy programs, thanks to a $500,000 provincial government investment to support 2019’s Raise-a-Reader campaign.

Morie Ford, a dedicated long-time literacy tutor, mentor, facilitator, educator and volunteer, is being awarded 2019’s Council of the Federation Literacy Award in B.C.

Students entering grades 11 and 12 in September will have more new courses and personalized learning opportunities than ever, making sure future graduates are on a path to success.
