Artists in communities around the province are getting support, thanks to BC Arts Council grants.

The Government of British Columbia has appointed a new board chair and five new directors to the B.C. Pavilion Corporation (PavCo) board of directors, effective Aug. 8, 2018.

Local festivals and events will attract attendees from near and far this summer, with the Government of British Columbia supporting their success through funding for enhanced promotion.

 Five new members have been appointed to the BC Arts Council board and one member has had his term renewed.

Visitors and residents can look forward to a bigger, better Art Gallery of Greater Victoria.

The Government of British Columbia has underscored its commitment to work with Indigenous peoples in the spirit of respect and collaboration by introducing a set of draft principles designed to guide the daily work of provincial government employees. Don Wright, head of the BC Public Service shared the draft principles with all 27,000 public service employees on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
