Two projects are set to get underway this paving season that will provide smoother, safer access, and extend the life of the road surface on Highway 3 near Princeton.

Donna Barnett, MLA for Cariboo-Chilcotin, on behalf of Premier Christy Clark, presented Dr. Michal Smialowski, a well-known Tatlayoko citizen, with the Province’s newest honour, the Medal of Good Citizenship.

The Village of Anmore is receiving a joint federal-provincial investment in critical clean water and wastewater infrastructure, announced Port Moody-Coquitlam MLA Linda Reimer on behalf of Minister of Community, Sport and Cultural Development Peter Fassbender.

Kimberley will receive $72,500 in BikeBC funding for the Kimberley Downtown Trails Connectivity project, creating a safe, accessible multi-use path connecting the downtown to the Peaks to Platzl trail head.

The ministry will be holding another round of open houses to gather input and feedback from the public on the development of future transportation improvement options for the Central Okanagan and Highway 97 corridor.
